Midnight Matcha Tattoo Policy

Hi! Thank you so much for wanting to get a tattoo from me! I’m so honored. The following rules are in place in order for me to be able to do this awesome work!

Here is my Policy:

I work at Snail Flower Tattoo in Portland, OR on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 11am - 8pm. I may be able to make any day and time of the week work with advance notice, so just ask!

My minimum is $50 for a tattoo. One free touch up comes with every tattoo, as long as you book the touch up within 1 year of the original appointment. To confirm any appointment time, all clients must send a nonrefundable deposit of $50 to me @midnightmatchatattoo on Venmo (no fee). Or through venue.ink/@midnight.matcha.tattoo (which includes a 10% fee). This deposit will go towards the total price of your tattoo. For example, if your tattoo is $100 total. You would pay $50 at the time of booking, and $50 at the appointment. Cash is preferred.

Custom pieces require an additional $50 nonrefundable drawing fee. (Also, goes towards tattoo total). Once this is paid, I will begin drawing.

My rate is $75/hour per tattoo. Flat rates are available. Typically the process is, I will design a piece to be within your budget. So, if you say your budget is $300, I will design a piece that can be completed within that time/budget. Then, if the piece takes longer than that, you won’t be charged more than the budget we agreed on.

Cancellations/Rescheduling:

If you need to cancel or reschedule your tattoo, you must do this 72 hours before the scheduled appointment or the deposit is forfeited and another $50 deposit will be required to make another appointment. Your appointment can be rescheduled 3 times, but for the 4th rescheduled appointment another $50 nonrefundable deposit will be required. And that appointment is good for another 3 reschedules, etc…

Please let me know if you are running late. If you no call/no show - your deposit and (if you are getting a custom) drawing fee are forfeited. Also, if you are over 30 minutes late this is considered a no call/no show.

If you do miss an appointment (are over 30 minutes late) you can rebook with an additional deposit. If you miss 3 appointments in a row, I can choose not to schedule with you anymore.

I have the right to refuse service to anyone. Deposits and drawing fees are final and nonrefundable, even if you choose not to go through with the appointment.

Don’t forget to bring your valid 18+ ID!

Please show up having eaten, somewhat recently showered/tattoo area cleaned, and if you have lots of hair in the area being tattooed, please shave that area around the space of where the tattoo will be.
